Day 4: Reconstruct your inner voice
Even though some of us may be stuck at home that doesn't mean you are stuck with your personal growth. In as short as a couple of minutes a day, I will challenge you to try these life hacks that have transformed my life.
We've all experienced some level of trauma that negatively impacted and changed us in early life. Most of us don't recognise the impacts it has on us now, as can become part of our inner voice. This negative voice that may have been from a parent, teacher, peer that taught you to doubt, harm or reinforce negative self-talk. Our inner voice can only be reconstructed once we observe them as they happen, try to neutralise it through curiosity and explore whether it is truly serving you.
What repeated voice has told you all you need to know about money, men, women, relationships, starting your own business? How has that voice been driving you in the wrong direction and how can you call it out and replace it with one that serves you?
Your challenge today is to catch one of these negative voices and recognise how it isn't serving you. If you’re still feeling stuck, try doing this short psychological assessment created by Stanford Professor and Coach, Shirzad Chamine.
Make sure to open your email tomorrow. I’d love to hear your experience of these challenges and what transformations that have started to happen.
